Hello you lovely bunch you ❤
I hope you’re all doing well and have enjoyed your February so far! The start of February for me is always busy as it’s Kyle’s birthday so we had lots of celebrating, eating of delicious food and drinking alcohol to get done for the first few days!
Today I thought I would talk you through this very pink dream heaven look! You may think I’m too late for Valentine’s Day, but why not wear pink all year round honey? 😉 It is a full coverage, glowy base and a very intense pink eyeshadow look which, I’m not gonna lie, I adored! I love playing with colour these days as I never used to when I was younger (thanks, anxiety xo) so this look was so much fun for me to create! I used the Revolution X Roxi eyeshadow palette (obvs as I can’t put it down) to create this eye look and I adored playing around with the colours! I did write a review on this eyeshadow palette which I will link here for you incase you missed it. As you can probably guess it is a good review as I can’t stop using it but alas, go read it to find out why it’s so good!

For my base I used the Revlon Colourstay Foundation in Ivory so even out my skin-tone and then followed this up with the Maybelline Eraser Eye concealer in shade 1 to conceal my under eye circles and any small blemished dotted around my face. To blend these in I used the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.
I set all of that into place I went in with the Rimmel Filter Ready translucent powder with a large powder brush and dusted that all over my face to set the foundation and concealer and dull down the shine.
I very lightly contoured my cheekbones with the Urban Decay Naked Skin palette in fair and used the lighter bronzey colour on a Morphe contour brush. I then blended out that line of contour using the Real Techniques blush brush to diffuse the colour and help the contour look more natural.
I then bronzed my skin using the Too Faced bronzer in Sun Bunny using the Real Techniques blush brush and dusted it over my cheekbones, onto my temples, around my forehead and under my jaw to warm up my complexion and make myself look less ghostly pale 😉
For blush I used the Sleek Rose Gold blusher and applied that to the apples of my cheeks and blended it up my cheek bones to make myself look healthier than usual using the Real Techniques Cheek Brush from the Nic’s Picks collection.
And for highlight I used the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in Snow Cone using the Real Techniques detailed face brush and dusted that over my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose and above my eyebrows.

I filled in my brows using the Maybelline Brow Satin in Medium brown and then combed them through with a spoolie to distribute the product evenly.
Now, for the main event, the pink eyeshadow! I picked up some of the shade Ariel on a dense, fpointed brush so that I could concentrate it into my crease area. I ensured I picked up a small amount of product and blended it really well inbetween picking up anymore product. Once I had defined my crease and blended it outwards in a point towards the tail of my brow I went in with an angled dense brush with the shade Inspire to darken the outer V of my eye and deepen the colour in my crease. I kept on taking a small amount of product, stamping it where I needed it then blending carefully to ensure I was keeping the darker colour for definition but there was no harsh lines visible.
I then took some concealer on a flat dense brush and cut my crease to get ready for adding the shimmer onto the lid. I took the shade Sunset on a flat fluffy brush and packed it on top of the concealer I had just added whilst it was still tacky. To brighten the centre of my eyelid I tapped a small amount of the shade Unicorn in the centre of the lid and I also took a tiny eye definer brush to highlight my inner corner and under my brow using the shade Unicorn again.
I then went in with my Soap and Glory Supercat liquid eyeliner and did a thin line across my lash line and obvs winged it out in a sharp wing. I then added a generous couple of coats of the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara.
To finish off the look I added the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Caramello as the eyes took a lot of the attention on the face so a nice neutral lip was needed! I obvs also set my face with the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray to lock in the goodness and make sure it stayed in place all day! ❤
I hope you enjoyed reading how I created this make-up look, I really enjoyed creating it! It was so much fun to play with colour and have fun with eyeshadows after years of being scared thanks to my anxiety!
I hope you guys have a good upcoming week and I will see you soon for another post!
Lots of love and talk soon,
