May Favourites!

Hey my lovelies!

I know this a few weeks late BUT better late than never, right? 😉 I thought I would take you through what I loved throughout the month of May from make-up to haircare to TV shows and books! So, if you would like to know what I loved throughout the month of May then keep on reading ❤

~ Make-up ~

Revlon Colourstay Foundation

I have spoken about this foundation before and did a cheeky review which is linked here and I ALWAYS go back to it! I have tried quite a few other drugstore foundations and none work as well on me as this one! This one stays in place all day, doesn’t get oily, doesn’t break up, stands the test of sweat in these hotter summer months and matches my skintone perfectly. I adore it, I will always go back to it, it is honestly hands down the best drugstore foundation I have ever used!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

I recently picked this beauty up on a whim and oh my LORD it is honestly A M A Z I N G! Everyone hypes up the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, which is good I can’t lie, but compared to this I honestly see the Collection one as not that great! This concealer works like a DREAM! It is so highly pigmented, blends in so well, covers all of the sins on your face and doesn’t look cakey at all.. I honestly don’t know why more people aren’t screaming from the rooftops about this concealer, it is honestly INCREDIBLE and I could not recommend it highly enough!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

Okay, I have mentioned this bronzer before, but honestly.. it’s the best thing that has graced this earth! It is so pigmented, so versatile as it can be used as contour or overall bronze, blends like a dream, stays in place all day AND as it is so pigmented you use such a small amount each time that the one box of it lasts for so long! I have only just replaced my first Hoola and I have had that one for 2 YEARS! Incredible, forever a fave! I have reviewed this beauty as well which is linked here.

Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Palette

Right, okay.. let me just gather myself here guys…

This palette is honestly STUNNING. I cannot and will not stop saying how gorgeous this palette is. Jaclyn, I bow down to you, you make-up Goddess you! This is one of my all time FAVE palettes, you can create so many looks with it, every single colour is insanely pigmented, they blend like a dream, stay pigmented all day long… I honestly think if I could marry a palette I would marry this one! I have written a review of this beauty, which I will link here, but honestly, if you love bright colours, insane pigmentation and easy blending.. you need this palette ❤

~ Haircare ~

Aussie Miracle Re-Constructor Oil

I recently discovered this hail oil whilst I was browsing Boots and oh my word it is honestly incredible! I have never tried any Aussie hair oils before and I am honesty questioning all of my life choices! I have used a range of hair oils in the past and this one is honestly a dream! It doesn’t make my hair feel greasey or heavy, it really helps to smooth and nourish my hair and it is affordable too! I honestly love this stuff, if you’re looking for a new hair product that will work wonders, give this one a go!

Garnier Skin Active 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub and Mask

I have raved on about this product time and time again but, honestly, it is so perfect! It works well as a wash, a scrub and a mask and I can honestly see such an improvement in my skin from using this little gem daily! It leave my skin feeling silky smooth, helps reduce breakouts and it is honestly so good! Plus, it is super affordable so what more could you want?

Lush Sleepy Moisturiser

I have been using this moisturiser for a little while now and it is honestly so lovely. It makes my skin feel like silk, it smells incredible and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky and heavy after I have used it which has a big thumbs up from me! Lush has a piece of my heart already and this product now does as well ❤

~ Literature ~

The Girl Before ~ J. P. Delaney

I was recommended this book by my friend and I honestly finished it in 2 days.. it hooked me in from the beginning to the end and the twist in it was honestly such a shock! If you love a classic psychological thriller and you’re looking for a book you can get through quite quickly then give this one a go!

Bonfire ~ Krysten Ritter

I was gifted this book a while ago and have recently started reading and I am loving it so far! I would describe it as a mystery thriller, I feel something creepy will come out eventually and I am super excited to see what happens! So far, I am hooked and cannot stop reading! Loving it!

Scrapbooking

I have FINALLY gotten back into my scrapbooking which is honestly so lovely to do! I adore taking photos, capturing moments and keeping all of those in a physical book that I can look back at anytime I want. It is such a lovely thing to have and super relaxing too so I am pretty chuffed I have finally gotten some motivation back to keep going with it!

Colouring In

I have also gotten back into my colouring, YAY! I am so happy I finally have some headspace free to do something as simple as colouring in so I can regain some zen and relaxation away from my phone or the TV in an evening! I love colouring so much, it honestly turns my mind off and allows me to lose myself in something that isn’t thinking about stressful life admin or worrying about things, I adore it and I am so happy I am back doing what I enjoy ❤

So there you go guys, those are the things I was loving during the month of May! Let me know what you guys have been loving down below ❤

Lots of love & talk soon,

Laura xo
