Firey Eyed Make-up!

Hello you lovely lot! ❤

So, I have done a routine type blog post on here previously, which was my everyday make-up routine, so I thought I would try and do another one for you with this firey make-up look created with the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette! I have done a cheeky review on this palette which I will leave linked here for you, but lets dive into what I used on my face for this make-up look!

~ Base ~

I always, always, always start of my make-up routines with a nice moisturiser to care for my skin and create a nice base for my foundation to sit on as well! For this look I used the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser and massaged that into my skin. I use two layers of this, which may sound excessive, but I like having SUPER moisturised skin!IMG_0754

For my foundation I used the Revlon Colourstay Foundation in the shade 010 Ivory., which I have reviewed previously which will be linked here. I used 2 pumps of this all over my face and blended it in using the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I then used the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in shade 01 Fair under my eyes, around my nose and on any breakouts I have! I blended this in using the Real Techniques sponge again.

I then set all of that into place with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent using the Real Techniques Multi-Task  Face Brush.

~ Bronze ~

For bronzer I have been using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer and I am in love with the sunkissed glow I get with this bronzer! I have reviewed this beauty before which I will link here. I take this bronzer on my Real Techniques Blush Brush and lightly contoured my cheekbones and generally bronzed up my face a bit to add some colour as I am deathly pale and need some form of life added in there 😉

~ Highlight ~

Recently I have been obsessed with using the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in Eclipse, which was a limited edition shade in the Jeffree X Manny MUA collaboration buuut you can still get it on BeautyBay so grab one whilst you can! It gives SUCH A BEAUTIFUL GLOW! I literally adore this highlight! I took it on the Real Techniques Finishing Brush and sweep it across my cheekbones, up onto my brow, above my eyebrows, down the bridge of my nose and my cupids bow which gives me a damn good glow and I LOVE IT!

~ Blush ~

For this look I used the Sleek Blush in Rose Gold on a Real Techniques Cheek Brush which was from the Nic’s Pick’s Collection. I literally took the smallest amount of the blush and blended it into the apples of my cheeks and up back towards my hair line to give me a bit of colour without being over powering as the eyes are quite intense!

~ Brows ~

For my brows I used the Soap and Glory brow archery in the shade Love is Blonde to carve them out, fill them in and make them a bit more defined! I have okay natural brows, so it isn’t the end of the world if I didn’t fill them in, but I do like to define them a bit! I then set them into place with the Rimmel Brow This Way clear brow gel to keep them in place aaall day long!

~ Eyes ~

Right, here is the bit you’ve been waiting for! For my eyes I used the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette for this lovely scorched red look and I am obsessed with how this looks with my blue eyes! It really makes my eye colour pop so it is perfect! I have reviewed this palette, which I will link here for you!

So, to start I took the browny shade called Low Blow and added this into my crease and outer corner of my eye and blended this out really well to be a nice transition shade for the next colours I used. I also added a bit of this brown under my lower lashes and blended that out as well. I used the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush to pack the colour into the crease and outer corner then the Real Techniques Multitask Eye Brush to blend this into the crease and outer corner and make it look seamless.

I then took this deep red matte shade called En Fuego and added this to my outter corners to deepen the look up a bit and I also blended a really small amount of this under my lower lash line as well for a bit more definition. I used the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush to pack it on then a Real Techniques Multitask Eye Brush to blend this into the transition shade and make it seamless.

I then took this shimmery deep red shade called Scorched and added this all over my lid under the colours I had blended into my crease and outter corner to get the deep red shimmery look! I used the brush from the Urban Decay palette to apply this. So gorgeous, this palette is just incredible ❤

I added some of the Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Eclipse to the inner corner for a little twinkle and then lined my top lashes with my Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner and created a winged look with this. I then added a few coats of the Rimmel Wonder’Full mascara and that was the eyes all done!

~ Lips ~

I used the Tarte x Grav3yardGirl Creamy Matte Lip Paint in Texas Toast for this look, unfortunately I don’t think you can get a hold of this exact colour anymore which is a shame, but I am sure you can find very similar ones!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post about how I achieved this look, let me know what your favourite kind of make-up look is down in the comments and if you enjoyed this style of post let me know and I will be sure to do more in the future!

Lots of love and talk soon,

Laura xo
