Hey, hey beauties! ❤
Okay, it is now the SEVENTH month of 2017. HOW? This year is flying by and it is honestly so scary, is it just me who feels like this?!
Anyway, let’s see what I have been loving through June, shall we? 🙂
~ Beauty ~
So, as per usual, I have bought yet more make-up… I know.. shock 😉
So, let me share with you what I have been loving this month!
1. Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette
I have written a cheeky review of this palette that will tell you all you need to know as to why I love it, but honestly, I have turned to this palette so frequently throughout the month of June and have absolutely loved it!
The review is here if you fancy having a read :)
2. Rimmel 9-in-1 BB Cream ~ Very Light
I mentioned this BB cream in a review last year as well as in my everyday make-up routine which is linked here and honestly, it has saved so much effort this month! It perfectly evens out my skintone, blends like a dream and doesn’t require any up-keep throughout the day which is perfect for the hotter days of the year!
Foundation is way too much when it is boiling outside so try this little beauty!
3. Jeffree Star X MannyMUA Skin Frost Highlight ~ Eclipse
This little beauty, annoyingly, was limited edition so I don’t think you can actually get a hold of it anymore.. I’M SORRY! But I have to mention it as it is stunning and I absolutely adore it!
You can have a lovely subtle shine or full on metallic glow with this highlighter and I cannot get enough! I would be more than tempted to get more of the Skin Frost highlights from Jeffree’s line after trying this one! Obsessed!
~ Skincare ~
1. Clinique Moisture Surge Serum
I have used the overnight recovery mask from Clinique and loved it so I thought I would try the moisture surge serum when it launched and I wasn’t disappointed.
I am super impressed with how little product you need to inject so much moisture into my skin! It sinks into my skin really nicely, doesn’t leave any weird residue and keeps my skin looking and feeling moisturised! Thumbs up from me!
2. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
I found out about this skincare brand from a few beauty YouTubers and thought I would give it a whirl to see if this teeny bottle of liquid and powder could resolve some of my skin issues!
You leave the solution to be two separate sections, so pink powder at the bottom and clear solution on the top. You dip a cotton bud into the pink powder at the bottom and dot it on any blemishes that your skin has. So I pop this on any active breakouts as well as ones that are lurking beneath the surface and you need to leave it on over night.
This has helped my breakouts, has reduced redness and has removed any pain that happens with some of my sexy spots 😉
I would highly recommend this solution to anyone who has trouble with breakouts, it really helps to reduce them and encourage them to leave a lot quicker than if you leave it!
~ Haircare ~
1. Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Treatment
This mask has made my hair so happy, soft and bouncy! As I dye my hair and use heated hair tools on it does get some battering throughout the month so any mask like this is like heaven to my hair!
It has helped to keep my hair soft, smooth and easy to tame! Love it!
~ Books ~
1. The Woman in Cabin 10 ~ Ruth Ware
I read this book whilst I was away on holiday and absolutely loved it! My friend recommended it and I am so glad she did!
It is a thriller based on a new luxury boat and a woman is there one day, and gone the next. The mystery gets more and more complex and twist at the end is unreal! If you like thrillers that leave you wanting more and more then definitely give this one a go! I couldn’t put it down!
2. On the Other Side ~ Carrie Fletcher
Okay.. let me get real for one minute guys. I feel like this book could possibly be the most beautiful, magical and heartwarming books I have ever read. Bold statement, but honestly, read it and you will understand.
It follows the story of Evie Snow and Vincent Winters, their journey through life, how things can change within an instant and what can happen once you are gone and your loved ones keep your spirit alive… it is simply stunning. I could not recommend it highly enough ❤
So there we go guys, my monthly faves from June! What have you guys been loving over the past few weeks? Let me know in the comments!
