Night-Time Skincare Routine!

Hey guys! ❤

I thought I would update you all on my current night-time skincare routine! I have removed some products and added some new ones in so it is a tad more simple than the last time I updated you all and is pretty budget friendly so, let’s get sharing shall we? 🙂

~ Make-up Removal ~

I remove my make-up religiously every single night. I know some people sometimes sleep in it, I used to when I was younger so I cannot judge, but I love the feeling of a clean face in the evenings after a long day at work so here is what I use to clean my face!

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash

This is the product I use first as I love the feeling of actually washing your face to remove the make-up. There is something so refreshing about using a face wash in the evenings after a long day!
This product is bloody brilliant. You simply dampen your face, pump some of the gel into your hands, and massage all over your face, then rinse with some cold water to remove the make-up. It is genius that they have come out with this product! It is extremely similar to other cleansers but a fraction of the price! I absolutely love this stuff, I will be doing a proper review of this soon so keep an eye out!

Garnier Skin Active Oil-Infused Micellar Cleansing Water

I tend to do this after I have finished all of my face washing in the bathroom as just another go over of my skin really. The gel wash does an incredible job removing all of the dirt and make-up from the day, this is just an extra step I add in as I like the oil-infused micellar water a lot!
I add some of this onto a large cotton pad and just wipe it gently across my whole face to remove any dirt that was potentially missed and to make sure my face is squeaky clean to avoid any nasty breakouts!

Using other face washes or scrubs are a sort of mix-in for me, I sometimes use them, I sometimes don’t. It completely depends on how tired I am or if I feel I need another boost of refreshment before I head off to bed!
If I am going to use any face washes I tend to use a scrub and the one I have been reaching for is the…

~ Scrub-a-dub-dub ~

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Scrub

This scrub is actually super gentle on your skin, I haven’t felt like my skin is being torn apart like I do with some other scrubs I have used! You simply dampen your face, squeeze some of the scrub onto your fingers and massage all over your face.
I focus on the nose, chin and forehead as I am massaging it in to make sure none of the pores in those areas keep any excess oil or dirt in them! Then you simply rinse it off with some cold water.
This scrub is really lovely to use day-to-day and does give you an extra boost of refreshment before heading off to sleep. You can use this in a morning but I tend to do most of the skincare in the evenings to be honest… sleep and all that 😉

After I have finished my washing of the face for the evening I do use a toner on my skin to further clean and prepare my skin for the moisturiser of choice before clambering into bed and grabbing some much needed sleep…
The toner I use is…

~ Tone It Up ~

L’Occitane Shea Gentle Toner

I simply add a few pumps of this toner onto a large cotton pad and gentle wipe it across my whole face to clean and prepare my skin after a long day of wearing make-up and being out and about! Your skin deserves some TLC every now and again, right? 🙂

After I have finsihed cleaning, scrubbing and wiping my face I simply add on an intensive night moisturiser and held off to sleep!

The moisturiser of choice that I have used religiously for the past year is…

~ Moisturise Me! ~

Clinique Moisture Surge Over-Night Mask

This is described as a mask but, in reality, it is a thicker moisturiser. It takes a little while for this to sink into your skin which is amazing for over-night and feels like silk as you apply it. I don’t know if I will ever stray from Clinique moisturisers you know, they’re just lovely and your skin really does thank you when you put a bit of extra care into it!

So there you go guys, that is my night-time skincare routine for you! Let me know what you guys use at night on your skin, if anything, I would love to know!

Talk soon,

Laura xo
