April Favourites!

Hey guys,

Is anyone else slightly freaking out that April is nearly over? How is this year going so quickly! A lot has happened in this past month and there are a few stand out products that I have stuck with throughout so, as always, I thought I would share them with you guys 🙂

~ Beauty ~

This month I have been trying to use a load of new make-up that I have in my collection so I have actually found some nice new favourites this month so I thought I would share them with you ❤

1. Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette

I got this palette in last November and have played around with it a little but haven’t messed around with it too much, however, this month I have really enjoyed creating more colourful looks with it and adding beautiful metallic colours onto my lids!
The shadows are so pigmented, blend beautifully and stay in place all day long and doesn’t lose any of their colour or shine throughout the day which is a dream! I love it so much ❤

2. Laura Geller GlamLASH Mascara

I received a beautiful box full of Laura Geller make-up from my parents for my birthday and this beautiful mascara was one of the items that was inside of it. I am obsessed. It adds so much colour, length and volume so, so quickly and is honestly a dream. I hadn’t heard of this make-up brand prior to my birthday but I am obsessed with it and will be repurchasing items from this!

3. Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer

This April has been pretty full on and I have been super tired a lot of it so this concealer has been a vital part of my make-up routine to hide the bags under my eyes!
It does have a yellowy colour to it so I do add another concealer on top but it is rediculously good at concealing dark circles and works a dream!

4. Nyx Professional Make-up Highlight & Contour Pro Palette

I have had this palette for a while now, however, this past month I have been obsessed with it for setting cream products around my face as well as hollowing out my cheek bones and adding definition to my face. The powders are so pigmented, blend really easily and are very buildable so you can start off small then build up your colour to the intensity you want 🙂

5. Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation

I bought this foundation a while ago and just did not get along with it, however, this past month I have absolutely loved it! I have no idea what changed, maybe my skin disliked it at the start of the year, but I love it now! It makes my skin so flawless, so smooth and it lasts all day and night long! I am obsessed ❤

~ Skincare ~

1. Garnier Micellar Gel Wash

I did mention this last month but I am still loving it this month too! It removes my make-up so effortlessly and makes my skin feel beautifully clean and doesn’t break my skin out which is a huge bonus! LOVE.

~ Haircare ~

1. CoLab Dry Shampoo

I have been a tad lazy with washing my hair this month so this dry shampoo has been a life saver! I have spoken about this dry shampoo before but it is honestly the best one I have used. It is so fine, it isn’t chalky at all and genuinely works to freshen your hair up!
I pop some of this in before I head to bed so that it works its magic over night and I wake up with fresh locks ready for the day ahead!

2. Lee Stafford Coco Loco Coconut Mask

My hair has done nothing but thank me for adding in some hair masks into my routine. This mask from Lee Stafford is so lovely, it softens your hair to an unreal texture and smells incredible.
I haven’t felt my hair be this soft in a very long time and as I do use heat on my hair alongside colouring it my hair does need all the help it can get to gain strength and soften it all up!

~ Books ~

I have picked up a few new books to add to my ever expanding collection so I thought I would them share with you as books are always my favourites ❤

1. The Haunting by Alex Bell

I have read Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell so I kinda knew I would love this book, however, I didn’t know just how obsessed I would get with it! It is so gripping, creepy and the story line really does drag you in and keep you there until the end! I have been utterly obsessed with this book, honestly, if you haven’t read any of the Red Eye series of books definitely give one a go. They’re such perfect thrillers!

~ Kittens ~

This month was one of a lot of kitten drama when Luna decided to eat a lily from a bunch of flowers. It has really put into perspective how much these two little monsters mean to me as well as how much of a huge part of my life they are. I do adore my fur babies so here is some kitten appreciation ❤

So there we go my lovelies, another month and another set of favourites for you! Let me know what you guys have been loving this month down in the comments, I want to know! ❤

Talk soon,

Laura xo
