November Favourites!

November has flown by and I have gathered a few new favourite things so I thought I would share them with you! I have some new skincare, make-up, books and travel loves that have been with me throughout November so lets get started and see what I have been loving, shall we?  🙂

~ Beauty ~
As always, some form of beauty product has entered my life so I will share with you my loves from November..
1. Tarte X Grav3yardGirl Swamp Queen Palette
This came out over the Summer as a limited edition collaboration between Bunny Meyers who is a YouTuber and Tarte Cosmetics and, as per usual, I was unable to grab one in the Summer! However, they have brought it back for a limited time and I was able to grab one!
I am in love.
I have used this every single day since I got my hands on it and Novemeber has been made 100% better since this little beauty came into my life. I am just truly in love with it, it is so pigmented, blends like a dream and has everything you need in one palette! Blush, Bronzer, Highlight and NINE eyeshadow shades! Beautiful.
if you have the chance and can grab one I recommend you do, you won’t regret it! ❤
2. Kylie Cosmetics Liquid to Matte Lipkit ~ KoKo K
Yep. I finally jumped on the bandwagon, I know. I know. But hear me out!
The hype surrounding the Kylie Cosmetics brand generally is insane. Absolutely insane. She would restock and everything would sell out in minutes. Like, I know. That is crazy.
However, the hype has died down a bit now and I was able to get my hands on some of the forever spoken about Liquid to Matte LipKits from Kylie’s brand.
Annoyingly, they are kinda worth the hype. The lip pencil you get in the kit is so creamy and easy to use and the colour I am talking about, KoKo K, is the most perfect pinky nude. I am obsessed, I have worn these lipkits so much since I got my hands on them and I don’t see that changing anytime soon! ❤

 ~ Skincare ~

My skincare routine has stayed the same this month, however, I have added a new face wash/scrub into my routines so I will share that with you! ❤
1. Clean and Clear Morning Energy Facial Scrub
This stuff has honestly been a life saver this past month. I have absolutely loved using this product boy day and night.
It makes my skin feel so fresh, awake and clean. I wouldn’t say it is the best scrub I have ever used for my skin, however, as an energising face wash this product is really good! If you struggle to feel awake in the mornings give this beauty a try! 🙂
2. L’Occitane Shea Cleansing Oil
As you guys know I have been obsessed with the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser for aaaages now, however, this MAY just replace it! This is a cleansing oil, I have never tried a cleansing oil before and this one is honestly gorgeous.
You simply pump some into your hand and massage it all over your face and it melts away your make-up so quickly and honestly feels absolutely gorgeous on your skin. After you have washed it away your face just feels so soft and honestly so clean. I am obsessed, if you are wanting a more light weight cleanser compared to the cream cleansers then definitely give this one a go! ❤

~ Literature ~
This month I did some travelling with my Mum to Copenhagen for the Christmas markets and I finished a book and bought some new ones so these HAVE to be mentioned in this post! 🙂
1. The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
Over recent months I have been really getting into more psychological thriller books and this one really hit the spot!
You have probably seen the film or at least seen it advertised and, honestly, I always like to read books before seeing films so I haven’t seen it but the book is so gripping I could not put it down.
The beginning of the book is a bit slow to introduce the characters but once strange things start happening and memories start flowing back this book is honestly incredible.
A solid favourite of this month and others to come!
2. Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell
After starting my love of thrillers I could not resist picking this one up in the airport on my travels and I am so glad I found it! From starting the book to finishing it I honestly could not put it down. This is gripping from the very start, it doesn’t take a while to get into the story at all. From chapter one creepy and strange things are happening to the main characters and I was completely hooked.
It took me about a week to finish this, bearing in mind, I do work full time and have other things to do! There was many a night I had to put this one down as I was scared I wouldn’t sleep from the creepy nature of the story.
If you love thrillers and something that will make your heart race then give this one a go, you will not regret it!

~ Travel ~
As you may have seen in my previous post Christmas Magic I recently went to Copenhagen with my Mum and, honestly, I have completely fallen in love..
1. Copenhagen, Denmark
As i was walking the streets, taking in the architecture and atmosphere of a new city I kept on saying to my Mum ‘I could live here, I could happily pack my bags and live here…’. And the truth is, I truly could.
I have completely fallen in love with Copenhagen. The atmosphere, the people, food and architecture grabbed me from the moment I arrived and I honestly cannot wait to return, or maybe, even re-locate in the future!
travelling Europe is one of my main bucket list hits and the experience I had in Denmark has made this even more of a dream for me.

So there we have it guys, another month and another batch of favourites for you! Let me know what your favourites have been from November, I would love to see if there is anything new I can try out!

Talk soon,

Laura xo
