My Haircare Routine!

Hey guys! I noticed that I have gone through lots of skincare and beauty routines on this blog minus my haircare routine both when I have just washed my hair and when I am caring for it between washes!
So, shockingly, I thought I would take you through what products I use, why I use them, and where you can find them! If you are wanting to change your haircare or add anything to it you may get some inspiration from reading mine in this post so lets dive in and see what I end up throwing on my head on a day-to-day basis! 🙂

My shampoo and conditioner changes a bit from month to month, (mainly depending on deals that are on brands in Boots or Superdrug at the time hah!), but I do tend to head back to Tresemme Colour Protect Shampoo. You can get a huge bottle for £6 which is crazy good value compared to some other brands and it works wonders on my locks and smells amazing!
If you are looking for some good value shampoo then try this stuff out. As shampoo goes it’s pretty good!
I also use the Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Shampoo to keep my hair nice and bright and reduce the brassy tones as I do dye my hair blonde so this removes the warmth and keeps the blonde colour looking fresh!

As I have said above my conditioner changes a bit depending on offers, however, I do tend to stick to the Tresemme Colour Protect Conditioner as it honestly makes my hair so soft and silky that I cannot get enough of it. Also, as you get a huge bottle, like with the shampoo, it makes it so much more worth the money and lasts so much longer than any other bottle I have found.
I do brush my hair in the shower with my conditioner in so that every strand gets conditioner on it and I have less of a hassle when I get out of the shower with brushing my hair as it is already tat free! 🙂

Once I have washed and conditioned my hair I put a few products on it to ensure it stays nice and soft, is protected from any heat that is applied and stays strong through the dye and styling that gets done to it!

I have used the V05 Smoothly Does it Frizz Free Cream for a few years and I really do love it. My Hair does tend to be a bit fluffy as I have wavey hair naturally and does need to be tamed and this product does work well for my hair to keep is smooth and soft until I wash my hair again.

I also use the Frizz Ease Anti-Frizz Primer  which I absolutely love. It just keeps my hair nice and smooth between washes and helps with the softness and care of the hair from hair dye and styling between each wash. If you haven’t tried this product I would recommend it!

Hair Oil

The only hair oil I use is the Wella Luxe Hair Oil. This stuff was introduced to me by my hairdresser and honestly it is incredible. I swear angels created it. It makes my hair so soft and smooth as well as keeping it in amazing condition!
This has added keratin in it so it helps to rebuild the hairs strength as well as assisting with the repair of the hair from obviously dying it and using heat to style it!
I swear by this stuff, I don’t go anywhere without it!

Leave in Conditioner

The leave in conditioner I use every time I was my hair is the Aussie Leave in Conditioner spray. This stuff is just the dream. It keeps your hair smelling lovely, feeling super soft and helps to reduce any knots and tats you may get between washes.
I have used this for years and rarely stray away from it!

Every other time I was my hair I do also use a few spritzes of the Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Tone Correcting Conditioning Spray. I use this every other time I wash my hair and it helps to reduce the brassyness that can occur from blonde hair dye and remove any warmth that may creep in from my natural hair colour. I really do love this stuff, it keeps my hair nice and bright blonde, super soft and reduces any tats and knots! Love.

Heat Protection Spray

As I have mentioned I do use heat on my hair so here are the products I use to protect my precious locks whilst styling day-to-day!

V05 Smoothly Does It Heat Protect Styling Spray. I use this everyday without fail and I really this it has improved the condition of my hair by providing extra protection from the heat of styling.
I also use the Lee Stafford ArgonOil Heat Defense Spray I added this into my hair care as it adds another level of heat protection as well as nourishing and builing up the hairs resistance to breaking and looking unhealthy with the added Argon Oil. I love this stuff, it is a tad more pricey but honestly lasts for months and I use it every single day! Give it a go!

So there you go, my extensive haircare routine! I do mix in hair masks every now and again, they tend to be whichever is on offer but they are usually from Garnier or Herbal Essences just to give my hair a nice deep condition every once in a while but this is my usual haircare from washing to styling!
I hope this was of use to some of you, let me know what you use in the comments and why you love them so much! I would love to hear about any new products to see if I could try them out on my own locks! 🙂 ❤

Talk soon,

Laura xo
