Shake your Tail Feather: November Birchbox

How on earth is this year going so quickly? It doesn’t seem five minutes since it was January.. this is crazy. November is here and so is the latest addition to my Birchbox deliveries.
Let’s see what products arrived and what I thought, shall we?

~ Packaging ~
This month I am obsessed with the packaging. It is the lovely drawer design of the box as well as having a beautiful Peacock tail feather design  on it! Teal, blue, green and purples are by far my favourite colours and I am drawn to them like a moth to a flame! I am also obsessed with Peacock feathers so this collaboration with Tatler is just stunning. Peacock design, gold embossed writing and stunning blues, greens and purples throughout.  I have no faults with the packaging. Love it.

~ Products Received ~
I have to be honest but I wasn’t super excited when I opened my box this month at the products I received. They are all very, very similar to ones I have had before and honestly none of them made me go ‘oooo’ or feel any excitement.
I also received a BB cream that is completely the wrong colour for my skintone so that is a wasted product for me sadly 😦
Anyway, I will show you what I got!

2. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics ~ Lip Tar Primer {RRP £15}

3. Marcelle ~ BB Cream Golden Glow Illuminator {RRP £25.50}
4. bbrowbar ~ Eyebrow Pencil (Cinnamon Spice) {RRP £13}
5. Nuxe ~ Creme Prodigieuse Normal to Combination Skin {RRP £21}

~ Thoughts Overall ~
Overall I wasn’t crazy impressed with this months box. The packaging was lovely, and some of the products I may use, however, the majority is kind of useless to me and wont get used which I find to be a bit of  a waste of my money this month which is a shame. I will see how the December box fairs but this month I wasn’t overly thrilled with the products I got, mainly as they were the wrong colouring or not the type of product I would use generally so I feel some may go to waste or be given to friends and family.
The packaging is gorgeous, I do love the design and the drawer style boxes they send out so I am happy with that, however, the products this month were a let down for me and they seem to be very similar to products I have received before from Birchbox so it feels a little repetitive.

So there we have it, guys. November is here and that is my unboxing of the November Birchbox! Let me know if you guys picked one of these up this month, I would love to hear what your thoughts were on it and which products you loved or hated! I will see you guys soon with another post! ❤
