Monday 26th September 2016 was the most magical day for me and a day I have waited for for what seems like forever. Something happened that I have been longing and waiting for and I am so excited to share with you some photos of the day!
I was finally able to bring home two fur babies called Luna and Buttons. I am in love. I really am. The decision to get kittens wasn’t a snap one and I did a lot of thinking, rationalising and planning before I picked the kittens that would be coming into my life.
I had been searching for what seemed like forever for kittens and everytime I found a litter that I had fallen in love with the kittens had already been snapped up by other lucky families.
So, when I stumbled across the litter containing Luna and Buttons I was straight on the phone asking if they were still available and if I could go and visit. I was told yes and headed over to see them the very next day!
As soon as I walked in and saw the basket full of sleeping kittens I had fallen in love and knew I couldn’t leave them. Luna came walking over to me as soon as the owners had woken them up and sat on my foot. My heart melted and I knew I had to take her home. I reserved her and planned to go and pick her up the following Monday.
The story behind Buttons is slightly different… I was texting the owner on the Monday talking about how excited I was to pick my kitten up and she said the majority of the litter had gone apart from one: Buttons.
Buttons was the runt of the litter, not like that made any difference, and so was so small and because of this a lot of people had viewed her and said no due to her size. So, I was saying to the owner that I would take her if she couldn’t find anyone else and she agreed I could re-home this beautiful black and white fluff ball along with her sister! I was over the moon, I had fallen in love with Buttons on my first visit but didn’t have it in my mind to have two kittens so I chose Luna because of the foot sitting incident. I could not be happier to have my two gorgeous fur babies in my life. They have made such a difference already and I honestly could not be happier!
They settled in within a day, I think this was helped as they had each other to explore with, and I couldn’t imagine my life without them now. They are so playful, have such funny little quirks about them and I honestly love them both so much. They have very different personalities and do play fight a lot with each other, which is obviously normal, but I just cannot imagine them not playing around my feet as I make dinner, sleeping on me as I settle down in the evenings and generally being my little shadows following me around the flat all of the time! ❤
So there we have it, I thought I would introduce my fur babies and share some incredibly cute photos I have got of them! They are a huge part of my life now and I adore them! I hope you guys enjoyed seeing my little babas and I will see you soon with another post! 🙂 ❤
