Morning & Evening Skincare Routine!

Hey guys!

It has been a loooong while since I have let you guys know what I have been doing to my skin to improve my skincare routine overall as well as improving the condition and reducing my blemishes so let me take you through what I use!

Morning Routine!

In the morning it is important before adding any make-up to inject hydration and protection onto your skin to ensure you are looking after your skin properly! Plus, if your skin is hydrated then your make-up will look BANGIN’, so, you need no more reasons to look after dat skin! 🙂

Garnier Micellar Water

As soon as I wake up I like to grab a cotton pad and wipe away the sleep with some micellar water! It is so refreshing, doesn’t leave any residue on the skin and wipes away any dirt/excess oils that you may have missed the night before!
I find this really wakes me up, refreshes my skin and makes me feel more awake.. well.. not really more awake but my skin does feel cleaner so, kinda the same? 😉

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel

I have only recently added this into my morning skincare but oh my word I do not regret it!
As it is a gel it sinks into my skin so quickly which is perfect for a morning moisture surge, and to top it off, it is oil-free so my combination/oily skin isn’t made worse by excess oils being added to my skin first thing! If you haven’t tried this then go and see if you can get a sample or try it at a Clinique stand, it is truly amazing!

Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser

I have used this moisturiser for years and still love it to this day, it is super cheap, works well and hydrates my skin, what more could you want?! As we are heading into colder temperatures as we are seeing the back end of Summer and slowly creeping into Autumn it is important to hydrate as much as possible!
I use this on a cotton pad and wipe it all over my face and use it to clean my skin a little before the make-up application!

Claudalie Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid

This is a recent addition, however, I really like what it is doing for my skin! It sinks into my skin really quickly and provides me with SPF 20 which is perfect! Wearing a moisturiser or foundation with SPF is important all year round, but recently it has been doubly important!
It has really hydrated my skin and I think it will thank me for it in the long run!

Evening Routine!

As soon as I get home from work I am itching to remove my make-up and clean my face as much as I possibly can before heading to bed so this is what I do to make my skin feel as dreamy, clean and refreshed as possible! ❤

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

In the evening after a long day at work I literally cannot wait to remove all of my make-up and leave my skin feeling squeaky clean and this product does just that!
You simply put a pump or two onto your fingers, massage it into your face to melt away that make-up and remove it all with a muslin cloth that has been dampened in hot water.
Honestly, if you haven’t tried this to remove your make-up then go try it, it is amazing and leaves your skin feeling clean, soft and refreshed! Yum!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub

After I have cleansed my make-up away I love to follow up with this scrub to make my skin feel extra clean and ready for bed! Washing away the day the best part of my day and this face wash makes me feel so refreshed and ready to sleep! ❤

Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask

I added this to my skincare a few weeks ago now along with the previously mentioned Clinique moisturiser and this has made such a difference to my skin! It is described as a mask but it in reality just an intense and thick moisturiser which soaks in slowly overnight!
It is so lovely to use, sinks in nice and slowly and I wake up with my skin feeling super refreshed and ready for the day!

So there you have it guys, my updated skincare routine for the morning and evening! Some things have stayed exactly the same and some things have changed around a bit! I hope you have enjoyed reading about how I look after my skin and I will see you all soon!

Talk soon,

Laura xo
