Random July Favorites!

Hey guys!

I thought I would do something a little different and tell you all some things I have been loving throughout the month of July! This will be make-up, skincare, haircare, clothes, shoes, technology, books… anything that I have been loving I will be telling you about in this post so grab a cuppa, sit back and see what July joys I have! 🙂

~ Beauty ~
Obviously, as it’s me, I should start with beauty favorites from the month of July!

1. Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
Throughout this past month I have been pretty obsessed with this eye-shadow palette! I have been since I got it, however, this month I have really enjoyed trying new looks and seeing what else can be done! It is beautiful.
2. Revlon Colourstay 24 Hour Foundation ~ Ivory
I have reached for this foundation time and time again this past month, it has stayed in place all day long and looked flawless. This foundation works really well and doesn’t melt or move throughout a busy day at work which is always a winner for me!
3. Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks ~ Mannequin
Having these beautiful liquid lips entering my life has been amazing, I have loved wearing them and they look like perfection for hours and hours! They have definitely been a staple in my make-up bag and something I have constantly reached for!

~ Skincare ~
Skincare is just as much a part of my life as breathing so here are my July top picks!
1. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
I have reached for this nearly every single night to remove my make-up and clean my skin before bed and I have loved it! It has really helped to clear my breakouts and has made this hot and sticky month a lot easier to deal with leaving me feeling refreshed and squeaky clean!
2. Garnier Micellar Water
One those nights where I am feeling a bit more lazy with my skincare I have reached for this magical water. It removes make-up in a flash and leaves my skin feeling perfectly clean and ready for bed!

~ Haircare ~
July has been a scorcher in the UK so haircare has been just as important as skincare so here are my staples from the past month.
1. John Frieda Anti-Frizz Primer
This product has worked wonders for my hair in the month of July! It has been so humid and warm in Sheffield and this product has really helped to tame and keep my curls nice and pronounced throughout the day! Definitely a must have!

2. Wella Luxe Oil
My hairdresser recommended this hair oil and oh my GOSH I now know why! It is ridiculously good! I use it when I have just washed my hair as well as during the week after styling to keep my hair nice and soft as well as shiny! If you’re looking for a lightweight hair product that works wonders then give this one a whirl! ❤

~ Books ~

No month is complete without a good book so here are the ones that have taken over the month of July ❤
1. The Girl With a Clock for a Heart by Peter Swanson
One of my close friends let me borrow/steal this book and I honestly could not put it down! It is the perfect thriller that takes you down so many different paths you end up losing your mind trying to find out what happened! If you’re looking for a new read and want to lose yourself in the pages of a good book then definitely pick this one up!
2. Me, Me, Me by Charlotte Crosby
I bought this book and could not put it down, it is absolutely hilarious! It was so refreshing to read an autobiography that is so light hearted and true to real life! If you’re looking for something easy going and fun definitely give this one a go!
3. Tanya Bakes by Tanya Burr
During July I have loved getting back into cooking and baking so this baking book by Tanya Burr really helped me with that! I have loved looking through this stunning book and discovering new and delicious recipes, if you are wanting to try some home baking then give this a go! 🙂

~ TV Shows ~
Everyone loves to veg out in front of the TV after work, school, college or university so here is what I have turned to during the past month!

1. Orange is the New Black
I have only recently started watching this (I know, where the hell have I been?!) and I have loved watching it! It is so funny and weirdly easy to watch with really interesting twists and story-lines that I can’t stop watching! July has been made better with this addition to my life!
2. Gavin and Stacey
I know, I know. This is a really old TV series, but, I only recently watched them all for the first time! Ha! I absolutely LOVE it, I cannot stop watching this hilarious TV series and I really do not get bored of it! If you’ve seen it or not, go give it a watch, you won’t regret it 😉

~ Technology ~
Throughout July there have been some mobile apps that have been a permanent part of my day so here they are so you can get addicted too!
1. Best Fiends
This game has quite literally taken over my life throughout July, I am obsessed with it and you will be too if you give it a whirl! It is a puzzle game where you have to defeat slugs, every level has a new and more difficult challenge so you can’t help but be addicted! It is available for Apple and Android devices to give it a go, you won’t regret it!
2. Instagram
Throughout July I have loved adding pictures to my Instagram and working to try and create more of a theme throughout my images! This has been a lot of fun and I haven’t been able to stay off of it! If you would like to see what I have been up to then my account is linked here 🙂
