Positive Vibes Only!

I found this photo on my Facebook newsfeed recently and it really stood out to me for a number of reasons…

I have never weighed myself, mainly because I don’t own a set of scales buy more so because I know it will do absolutely nothing for my mental well-being… how will seeing that you’ve lost some weight one week, then gained some back the next going to make you feel good? Or confident? It will make you obsessive, worried and over think everything you do!
So, my main point when it comes to weight gain, or loss is as long as you’re happy, comfortable and confident then who cares?!

Who cares if you’re a size 8 or a size 16, because as I have grown up I have realised that it means nothing. People still like you just as much if you gain or loss a few pounds.

Confidence comes from within, not from hammering the gym and eating leaves constantly. However, if you enjoy that and you feel happy and you’re doing it for you, and not for acceptance, then go for it! But if you’re doing it because you feel you have to then seriously re-evaluate what you’re doing to yourself, if you’re not gaining any happiness then there is no point!

Sorry for the quick and easy post, I just feel it is of great importance to do things for you and not other people and to be happy with whatever you decide!
